About
My name is Susan and until July 14, 2008 all I ever really wanted to be was a successful designer. My son Zander was born and the life I thought I had all figured out didn’t make sense anymore. This year has been one of great joys and great revelations.
At one point it occurred to me that I put more care and concern into the websites and print pieces I designed than my own life. In my work I spent hours, pouring over color swatch books, searching for the perfect photo or font. I thought to myself, why can’t I design my life the way I want it to be? That means filling my life with the people, places, things and experiences that work and getting rid of anything that doesn’t.
This blog is my chronicle of designing my life the way I want it to be. Better, smarter, kinder, more fun, generous to a fault and WIDE WIDE open!
